The Wenger Family presents their small family business, located in the heart of the village of Villeret, renowned for its magnificent "Combe-Grède" gorge.
Since 2024, we have been purchasing and processing milk from our five local producers. Currently, we process approximately 1.7 million kilograms of milk per year. The dairy farms of our farmers, located in the immediate vicinity of our cheese factory, deliver their milk twice a day. This delivery frequency is ideal for us, allowing us to produce cheeses of exceptional quality.
Our commitment to the environment is a priority. Since 2018, our photovoltaic installation has been generating about 30% of our electricity needs. Furthermore, since 2020, we have been connected to a CO₂-neutral thermal network and an environmentally friendly cooling system.
The Villeret Cheese Factory offers you a carefully selected range of cheeses from our own production, as well as a variety of regional and artisanal products.
